Andrea will be out of the office from February 6th-21st traveling to Spain with the Rural Leadership North Dakota class. ✈️
📌 Stops and visits in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮 include the Department of Agriculture, the Catalonian Government, a Winery Tour, the famous Sagrada Familia, a nonprofit and Foundation serving children and young families, and the Catalonian Parliament. 🍷 📌 Then travel to 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗯𝗮 using the fast train with a guided tour of the city including the World Heritage Site for the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) promoting world peace and security. 🚈 📌 From Cordoba to 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 which is the largest city in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Seville is knowns for its rich and colorful mix of history and culture. 💃 📌 Off to 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 to visit a milk plant and dairy farm, Olive Mill/Olive Oil Co-op, visit an artichoke and asparagus farm and finish our tour of Granada with a guided tour of the Alhambra Palace. 🐮 📌 A day trip to the southern coast to 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮/𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗦𝗼𝗹 where will visit a tropical fruit producer and served lunch from a small family run farm. 🍊🍋 📌 The last city on our trip is 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗱. There we will have a panoramic tour of the city and meet with the US Embassy. Supper will be with a US citizen working for the USDA in Spain. A visit with the Nation Association of Meat Retailers headquarters which represents more than 25,000 butcher and charcuterie shops afterward stopping at the famous Food Chamartín Market.
